A non-refundable upfront deposit is required to initiate a loan application. The amount of the deposit will be determined by the complexity of the loan request. The deposit will appear as a credit on the HUD-1 Settlement Statement and will be applied to offset closing costs. Estimated closing costs are disclosed on the letter of intent. Any overage or shortage will be adjusted at closing.
